New design and plea for help...

Hey all
Well the current version of Katharine Isabelle Uk is coming up to 18 months old (from concept) so I thought it's about time I started working on a newer design.
To be honest I quite like the layout so haven't messed with that too much, below is a screen shot of the design I am working on:



This does leave me with one question and a request for help.

The question is simple, what do you think?

The request though is because I am very poor when it comes to art and graphics, probably why the site has always had a simple design. Unfortunately I cannot pay for it, but I would love for someone to come up with a design that is simple, elegant and in keeping with the new look. If you are interested, the header text is Georgia and the title image area is 795 x 180 pixels, though the height can vary a bit. The current blank area background colour is EEEEEE, thought the left hand side DDDDDD could also be used.

Guessing as no response the design is quite bad. Oh well back to the drawing board...

Ah, looks like my bad.....didn't realise this forum was locked so only I could post, so gonna try again.
PLease let me know what you think of the proposed design change and also if there is an artistic person out there who'd like to design a title banner that would be fantastic.
